RX 350 seatbelt alarm

>It definitely works on the 07 RX350. In fact, it's in the owner's manual.<
Where? I searched the PDF version of the manual and wasn't able to find anything on that topic.
>be aware that there are two separate procedures, one for the driver's seat, one for the passenger's<
Two sources for this procedure were posted in this thread - both essentially the same. One specified the passenger seat; the other didn't mention driver's or passenger's seat belt. If possible, I'd like to disable the driver's side, but not the passenger's side.
What's the procedure for the driver's side?
Thanks
EdP

My 2002 SC430, which I bought in the summer of 2001, is pretty much rattle-free (20K miles). I believe it's impossible to fit leather, vinyl, metal, and wood cheek-by-jowl and *not* get some kind of sounds which my SC does get. There are no rattles, though - it's just the sound of one material moving against another. Bet you never rode on a silent leather saddle. Well, actually, I'm guessing at that - I won't ride a horse again until I find one with a steering wheel and brakes.
My 2007 RX, on the other hand, has an occasional buzzing coming from the driver door/window - very nice entertainment for the left ear. There's also an occasional noise from within the dash that is impossible to pinpoint. The most irritating however, is a definite and loud rattle sounding like a large nut or bolt left somewhere within a rear body panel or in the hatch door itself. Every once in a while it disappears as if it got lodged somewhere, then a bump brings it back to life. No, it's not the little latches securing the cargo cover.
I've been blaming the noises on the fact the car was not assembled in Japan.
But this is a thread about that other irritant, the seat belt warning noise. No one responded yet to my question about what difference, if any, there is between the procedure disabling the passenger and the driver side. I think I'll use the procedure referred to in this thread to try the driver's side - can't hurt (I don't think).

My GS is assemble in Japan and the dealer already spend 2 weeks trying to fix the rattles. They took the whole dash apart and felt everything. Its better now but I still snap, crackle, pop noise from 3 or 4 different areas. On the other hand, the 05 GX was solid as a rock. Not one rattle after 3 years and 35000 miles. Not even the sound of one material moving against another.

Works in 2009 RX 350
I researched on this forum how to disable the seat belt alarm because my driveway is EXTREMELY long and I don't wear my seatbelt driving to the end to pick up the kids or check the mail. It is a ridiculous, annoying issue for that reason alone. We all wear our seatbelts while in the vehicle otherwise. Thank you to whoever discovered and posted the procedure for disabling the chime.
