I just bought a 2005 Silver RX330 AWD(hard to find in TX). 15.5k miles for $33k. I bought it at the Mercedes Dealership so it wasn't certified. Where can I get service info for it? I want to see when I need to take it in. I have already experienced transmission problems but it is probrably more to do with the retarded decision making than the unit itself.

Have them follow up with the transmission problems. It could be some TSBs. What is the nearest Lexus dealer? I am sure you still have the factory warranty for your '05 RX. Any Lexus dealer will take care of it.

There is one 10 minutes from where I work and another one 10 minutes from where I live so thats not a problem. What is a TSB anyways? Are they all covered under waranty?

TSB = Technical Service Bulletin

Dealers usually gether information on tough problems and repair proedures and report to auto manufacturers.

There is a TSB on the transmission. It requires some calibration. I think dealer will charge you for TSB repair if warranty is out.
