Lightbulb Need feedback on RX330/350...About to buy!

Hello fellow CL Members,

I am usually in the GS forum and I am about to drop the hammer and buy an RX for my wife. I have heard many good things about the RX and since I am going to buy used, I wanted to know if anyone can give me some feed back on our choice of the RX 330 or 350....I am leaning towards the 330 since that is in my price range.

I guess in all, I would like to know your reviews and your likes and dislikes about the SUV. Also, since I will be buying used, what is a good mileage to stay away from and I understand that the lower the mileage the better, but I am only playing with about $23,000 to $25,000 in my budget.

Thanks for your help!

I recently purchased an RX350, but I'm sure you won't be disappointed with a 330. I'm hoping you purchase CPO so you will have a warranty with the RX you're considering. The price point you describe will not get you an RX with Nav and will probably have at least 40k miles.

There are a couple of threads you need to check out. One is a list of likes, and the other is a list of dislikes. For me, overall the RX is excellent. The only gripes I have are minimal such as short front seats, no keyless ignition, etc.

The RX is a pleasure to drive, has ample power, ample sound dampening and handles very well for an SUV. In other words, you can't go wrong. I would highly suggest Nav though because it comes with so many little features that are beneficial. (backup camera, on screen control of BT, radio, climate control, etc.)

Thumbs up

Thanks TripleDES

I will be out looking next weekend for the SUV. Since I have had my GS, there is no turning back to any other car now...I guess you can say I got spoiled from driving a nice car....now all I have to do is upgrade to the LS in the next couple of years and pass down my GS to my daughter or my son. Hahahha my daughter is only 11 and my son is 3....I guess I can say I will not be getting rid of the GS for a long long time.....it is such a classy car to drive and I am always getting compliments on it.

Back to the subject....I was told I can get one with Navi for $27,000 but will have about 50K on the mileage. I was also checking out some of them on Ebay motors just for fun and they hold their value....Like I really had to say that.

Well again, thanks for your input and I will be reading more on the car and the options this weekend.

Again thanks and Cheers,
