Lexus Chrome Wheels?!? PICS OF DIFFERENT WHEELS Lexus offers?
Anyone know how much they are going for? I want to buy the normal ones. Chrome is to bling bling for me...
Does Lexus offer a trade in for these?
I see there is standard, then polished graphite, then the chrome... does any one have any pics of reference... would love to see the standard gray vs. polished graphite.... :P

I think the chrome rims are going for around $1600-$1700 for the set. I have no idea if the dealers will trade you but the regular rims come in 17" or 18"
If the dealers won't do anything for you, you can always go the e-bay route by buying wheels there and then selling your's. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Ne...37947405QQrdZ1

in So Cal there are lots of places to do a chrome core exchange for about $600. the dealer marks them way up; and the RX is so popular that i doubt you could get more than $1000 for the set as straight take offs selling on ebay.
in any case, i think your best bet is to do a trade locally with someone who has regular silver alloys and have them pay you about $600. you can do the swap together at a local tire place so you don't have to replace yours before you sell them. go into CL's classifieds and post them - i think you will find somebody willing to buy them. just make sure whoever you are trading with has wheels in like-new condition (no curb rash etc.) - the tire shop can also inspect for any internal damage (like bent rims or cracks)
good luck

I just got factory chromed ry rims for my 2007 at:
Wheel Concepts, 1103 LawrenceDr., Newbury Park, CA
www.wheelconcepts
Cost with factory trade was $550+60 to remount and balance. They have a out of state freight plan with special shipping box. These people supply most of the high end auto dealers in LA with rims. The chrome is good - I've had them on my wife's Jag for 5 years and no pitting or chips!

I bought the American Racing 'Casino' chrome wheels and kept the stock, just in case I'll want to use them in the future. They were a grand plus mounting of the stock tires. Here is a link to them just in case you're interested to see what else there is other than the stock Lexus wheels.

If you want to sell them outright, I agree with using ebay..
Good luck..

I paid $1400 for chrome wheels. When I ordered them I thought they were
special wheels but when I got them they were just the regular wheels chromed. I hit the salesman up for $1000 at the last minute so I guess they figued out how to get it back. I like the wheels and don't care about the money if the they don't corrode. I know there are lots of places to get them chromed for $500-$600.
