I just got my cpo '04 RX330 three weeks ago. But, no matter what the nav setting is, it just won't totally bypass toll route for my destination. It did try to exclude the toll route as much as possible, but it just won't totally eliminate it. I know for a fact that the toll route is not neccessary. Is this normal? Thx.

If you disabled toll roads already then chances are, the map data doesn't show those roads as toll. Perhaps a map update will help solve the issue.

Good call, TripleDES! There are probably a lot of '04's out there (mine's one) with the original data disc. If new roads have been completed (or old ones had toll booths installed) a new disc should solve the problem. Your nav system can only do its best with the data it is given. If you purchased from a Lexus dealer, you might go back and ask your salesperson (innocently, of course) what's wrong. They might offer you an updated disc at a friendly (sub-$200) price. Well, you can always hope . . .

Well...I know for a fact that this particular toll road are old, and so are the non-toll roads that could take me to the destination. I did ask at the Lexus dealership where I bought my vehicle, but they told me that the nav is just a tool to assist in getting to the destination, and it is not a guaranty that the route is 100% correct. I also asked whether it could be the version of the map, but they told me it is not. Has anyone notice this behaviour in their nav system? Thx.
