While driving my new RX350 ('07, 100 miles, AWD, no nav or camera or laser cruise) I have noticed a short, polite, intermittent beep every 3-4 minutes lasting about 1 sec coming from somewhere — the dashboard? — and I confess it is getting most annoying. No warning lites show up — just the beep. Driving in city traffic, about 30-45 mph. Any ideas? Many thanks.

What you hear is a "polite" warning, usually assosiated with unsecured (close) door. If all doors are closed properly, I would suggest go to the dealer as your vehcile is new, there might be a problem with the warning circuit.
