Red face Dead bug inside the taillight assembly -- want to get it out!

Hi all, I have an annoying problem that I want to see if I can take care of my self. On my 2004 RX I found a dead bug inside the leftside taillight between the refective material and the clear outer plastic. It's literally bugging the crap out of me.

I see three bolts inside the trunk access hole that seem to mount the taillight to the car. They are all hard to get to. Is there another way to get to the area so I can get the little bug out?

Thanks!

Funny you mention that cause I have a couple of dead bugs in the same spot.So far I've left them alone .Can't see them unless you're really looking

I heard the decay life of bugs is only 5 years.

Not sure how you could get the little bugger out since the taillight assembly is usually sealed up pretty tight, except for a couple of small vents for moisture to escape. I guess you could maybe remove the taillight and tilt it and tap at it until the bug eventually (if ever) falls out of the moisture vent like one of those kids' puzzle toys in which a little tiny ball-bearing rolls around inside a maze!

u have to remove ur lights, remove all 3 of the bolts, then remove the bulb socket,n u have to remove ur LED as well

mine has this problem, but during the process of changing my rear lamp, n switching the LED, the bug came off

unless the bug is causing u a main issue, the best is to let it be

Post the seal

the seal seems to be pretty tight. how do i go about loosening the three bolts? there's the little panel inside the trunk that i popped open but it seems the bolts are almost unreachable.

any tips or tricks to doing that?

btw, i accidentally posted to another post about taillamps vs. taillight. sounds like the poster of the other thread can benefit from this too.
