Helicopter Noise When Rear Windows Down

No it has nothing to do with the weather stripping. It's a harmonic, just like when you blow across the top of a soda bottle. My BMW does this (deafening hammering noise) if I have the rear seats folded down and the sunroof all the way open. If I close the sunroof halfway or open a window, it goes away. As mentioned above, in the RX the noise goes away if you open the front windows. It may also if you open the sunroof, but I wouldn't know unless I tried it.

Exactly. If you crack one or two of the other windows, it should go away, as you are "de-Qing" the resonance.
And if you are going to have the noise anyway, might as well enjoy it and get one of these. They are a blast:

I have the same problem with my 2004 RAV4. I expect it with my RX350 that I am picking up later today.
I remember when I had my Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2000 it came with window deflectors. I remember it seemed to tone down that loud helicopter noise SUVs usually make.
So, I wonder if those "window deflectors" would help this.
Funny, before I saw this thread, yesterday I saw an RX350 with those and put a note on their window to call me and tell me if it made a difference. If I do hear from them I will let you all know what they have to say. And their RX didn't look bad with the deflectors either. It kind of blended in with the color. They had the flint mica and the deflectors were smokey and almost looked like the tint on the windows.
