I had this two until I noticed that with no one in the passenger seat, the seatbelt buckle would bounce and hit the plastic side of the door. I move the seatbelt a little and the noise disappears.

07 RX350: No rattles....just a low roar/buzz, from the rear, even on smooth pavement. Maybe its the Michelins, maybe I need th e heavy, rubber cargo mat. Or some sound-deadening material added to the floor panels...
Really, really disappointed in my first Lexus vs Acura RL....

I will find that rattle in your rear end.
Wonderful vehicle, feel like a million bucks driving it. In my opinion (for what I do and need), the perfect vehicle, except, this thing rattles like a Chevy. Took it to the dealer where they were most generous with a loaner car and made a lame attempt to repair. Apparently they dont test drive them after working on them. As soon as I pulled out of the lot, the rattle was still there. Seems to be coming from the back seat. Folded the seats down, and its not as bad. I know its not loose stuff in the car because we dont carry any and I have checked all of the storage areas. The rattle really makes the vehicle seem "cheap".
Also, today I was putting tire dressing on the rear left tire and had my uncle back the RX up so i could get the underside of the tire as well (my hands were dirty and I hate that unblack spot.) Anyway, when he turned the engine off, I heard a peculiar but audible thunk then a rattling buzz sound while squatting at the wheel-well as the exhaust system dealt with the power down. I know the tail pipe is on the other side and should have listened closer but didn't think it was an issue till driving later the same evening. I hope it's not an under-body problem but if it is, I will find it and the dealership will have it pointed out to them and they will find a resolution.

I have an 06 RX400h that rattles like crazy. I have the driver door vibrating, the rear seat armrest squeaking against the other seat when its in the up position and some other intermittant rattle when I accelerate. The dealer claims they fixed the intermittant rattle with some new clips in the hatch. They say the door problem doesn't exist and their solution for the rear armrest is babypowder!!! And no I'm not joking.
Now they gave me a 08 rx350 loaner car. It has none of these problems. Its the same car afterall. So I believe they should fix the damn armrest from squeaking along with the other problems, very very disappointed in this lexus. All the loaners we have gotten are what a lexus should be. My new corvette is quieter than this thing.

have you tried accelerating in one? The hybrid is louder than most cars when accelerating. From what I read, they had to use a special windshield and sound deadening so it wasn't really bad. The rx350 is not so loud. Seems to squeek and rattle less too.

When I test drove the 07 RX350, I noticed that rattle came from the cargo area inside the car. Then the sales guy discovered that the two push down buttons to lock the cargo cover need to be latched/pushed down in place to prevent them from rattling even without the cover in place/closed. Other than that, no rattle whatsoever.

Wow, I guess I am lucky! I have no rattles or creaking. I have wind noise, road noise, engine oil leak, transmission hesitation etc, etc, etc. If all you have is some noises consider your self lucky!! I have less than 5K miles. By 50K miles it will have completely fallen apart.
