Remove 1 10mm bolt on left side that holds glove box.

Pull out on the glove box. The right side of the dash will come off with the box.

Be careful there is a wire you need to unplug.

Jim here is your big wire that you hate so much!!! Use a screw driver and pull it out of the metal bar.

Ok, here I use a metal brace to support the glove box. If you look I had to cut all the plastic out for the cup holder. This metal brace will be used to screw the top of the glove box in.
