Question door locks

On my 350 I have to hit the button 2 times to unlock all doors. Can I reprogram to have 1 time to unlock all doors or do I have to take it to a dealer to have this done?

Yes. I believe you can. If fact, try searching this forum. I thought someone posted the instructions so you could do it yourself and save the trip to the dealer.

Actually, I did a quick look-up in my manual, and it appears that this is one of those features whose instructions are not included in the manual. That's not to say that an owner can't do it themselves (I don't one way or the other). But the instructions to do so are not provided for this particular feature (unlike some of the other options) in the manual.

It doesn't appear to be one of the features of the automatic door locking and unlocking systems, but if it is, there's no instruction for it on page 9 of the manual.

On page 20 of the manual, it states that the "2-step" unlocking function of the key can be changed, but instructs you to contact the dealer for details.

My page # is for the big RX350 manual, which is what the OP has.

Sounds like it's one of the Lexus Personalized Settings.

Lexus will pay ONCE for any available customization to your vehicle. Any of the personalized settings you want to change. Ask your dealer for the list of available settings. There are around 12-15 of them. This is actually considered your first free service.
The item you are asking about is available but by dealer only.

I imagine this is something done by tapping into the onboard computer and making the changes. Attached is a list of available customizations. I'd post the list, but I'm too lazy to format it.
