Default Cargo Net

I've had my RX350 for 3 days now, and love it. I have my cargo net from my previous RX300, but I can't figure out how to put it in this car. If I purchase a new cargo net made for the 350, is it really easy to install like they say...where are the hooks in the 350?

hi, and welcome to Club Lexus

if you buy the net for the 350, it comes with anchor hooks that must be installed in the trunk. you need a drill only, and the total install takes less than 30 minutes (the net comes with templates for easy drilling).

you can order the net from lexus-parts.com, a clublexus vendor. don't forget code CL911M for your 10% off. shipping is very reasonable and no tax outside of TX.

Okay, thanks. I was just hoping to use the old net, but I guess I'll just get a new one. My husband is just a little nervous drilling holes in my new Lexus, but I'll watch over him closely :-)
By the way, I got the silver/gray...what a beauty!

Thumbs up

Hey,

I was nervous also but I got the cargo net from the dealer (Free). and I put it on the two truck cover release latches. and the bottoms i put it in the metal anchors.

In the picture you can see the truck cover release latches but not hte metal anchors.

Have fun.

This works fine for me. Also the cover works fine with it also.

I am not sure...but I think if you get it installed from the Dealer they drill inside of your trunk area..but I am not sure exactly where.

All I know is that it works for me...and I am happy..No drilling necessary!

Also it just helps out by keeping things from falling out!

Has the anchor system for the cargo net changed since the '04 RX330? I also had to drill two holes to bolt the upper anchors for the cargo net. An easy procedure as the instructions are very easy to follow and the templates showed you exactly where to drill.

I was equally nervous about the process, but it literally took about about 10 minutes and the drilling part was trivial in the end.

yes i think we are talking about the anchors, not the elastic portion. there is a round tab w/ a plastic T shape anchor which you are supposed to wrap the elastic around.

there shouldn't be any difference between 330/350 since 2004.
