New RX - Old Owner
I've had my new RX350 for a week now and am slowly getting accustomed to it. I've never had a vehicle like this before, so it's taking some gittin' used to.
I thought it had way too much roll in turns until I realized that it's so smooth and quiet, I was going into turns about 10 miles an hour faster than I realized. I'm beginning to like the way it handles now.
Parking is another thing entirely. I pride myself in my ability to parallel park, but what an embarrassing job I've been doing with this car. I just cannot tell where the heck the back of the RX is. I thought I was on top of the car in the parking space behind me until I got out and saw I was about three feet away! The curb was about two feet away. This is going to take some practice because I just do not want to park by braille.
Great car - love it.
Oh yeah ... besides storing hand cleaner and breath mints, what's that removable adapter tray for?

Congrats on your new RX!!
Do you have the backup camera? If so, have place the mirror switch control in any position except the middle. This way, your mirrors will tilt down to help you with parallel parking.

Thanks Triple ...
I don't have a backup camera and now know why people do.
The side mirror tilt helps a lot. In fact, when I have to back down my curved driveway, I tilt them to the max, zoom down like a pro, and surprise even myself. My problem is that I can't tell where the back of the RX is. The side mirrors don't reflect (groan) that.
