HELP: RX 350 All Wheel Drive vs. Front Wheel Drive, Difference In Ride & Handling?

Thanks cannga.
It is "ALL TIME awd". To overcome the rigid 50+50 at higher speed the viscous coupling provides a slip.
There is a whole lot of give and take in each set-up, but for moderate off road-use, the set up looks good. I am sure there are folks who would poo poo this design. But that discussion belongs in AWD vs AWD thread.

"The full-time AWD system works with TRAC to evenly distribute power to both axles with a constant 50/50 front-to-rear power split. If slippage occurs, the viscous coupling differential directs torque to the wheels with the most traction."
Well, that explains a lot, since I did not think my RX felt like a FWD car, even on dry pavement (I have had many Audi, Honda and other FWD cars going back to my Audi 100). The normal 50/50 power delivery also explains why this car never seems to spin its tires (I can get my SC to "burn rubber" almost anytime).
I think it also explains why Lexus sells so many of this car -- its neutral handling makes it very easy and comfortable for almost anyone to drive.
I'm a bigger fan now than before I knew so much.
