Default RX350 Price paid in NE, KS, MO

Hi, I'm new to the forum.

We are in the process of purchasing an RX350 AWD with Premium Plus and NAVI in Nebraska. Without any negotiation, one dealer in Kansas City, MO wanted to sell it for $4000 off MSRP but she mentioned RX330. I think she is mistaken for an RX350 because I believe RX330 is NO LONGER available as NEW. Am I wrong?

One dealer in Nebraska said will discount $2000 Off MSRP regardless of model. And I'm working with another dealer in Nebraska for the INVOICE price.

Am I reasonable for the INVOICE price or is it too much to ask for? What others are paying in this market? I saw they have about 10 RX350 in one dealer and it looks like they move very slow these days.

Please give me your input as well as suggestions. Thanks,

GoHusker,

Keep in mind both Lexus dealers in Nebraska are owned by the same corporation -- PERFORMANCE. I purchased my RX 330 from the Lincoln dealership in January of 2005. I would imagine you can get quite a deal on the RX 350 shopping around. I would check out Des Moines, Wichita, and Kansas City as well. I would even check out Chicago and/or Minneapolis if I were you. Are you trading something in?

Well,

Took my wife in for the test drive the RX350, she didn't like it, saying she feels too old even though she in the 20's.

We ended up buying the IS250 AWD. It's a small car and not that fast but she likes it and that all matters.

Actually I thought I was pretty young in my RX350, I'm in my mid-30s, most folks around hear I notice that drives the newer RX330-RX350 looks to be in their mid-40s and 50s...I'd say 60%

I mean that MOSTLY older people drive them, so it makes me feel like I'm driving an "old person's car". It is very nice though.

Have you called tom hopkins at lujack lexus in Davenport iowa. He ships many to omaha et al. His prices are amazing plus shipping is free, well that is what he told me. Everyprice I have ever found in Minneapolis or Chicago was higher than his. Sorry to sound like a sales person, he is an old friend, I purchased my first car ever from him a long time ago.
