How do you remove the Rear Spoiler?
Hi,
We need to temporarily remove the RX350 rear spoiler to install a sign/graphic on the window.
Removing the spoiler would help simplify installation of the full window graphic.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
eagle

Not sure about the 350, but on the 330 the spoiler is held on by a combination of screws and clips. Other newer Lexus and Toyota products are the same. The screws come out easily, but you have to pry the spoiler off of the clips. You can damage the spoiler, the clips, or both! The dealer broke my spoiler taking it off to fix a problem with it, so I got a whole new one under warranty.
So it may not be desirable to take the spoiler off unless it's absolutely necessary.

Thanks rxdriver.
I actually saw your post (I think it was your post) when I did a search.
The graphics company also was hesitant to remove it never having done it on this particular car/model.
They installed the graphic with the spoiler on. The spoiler made it very difficult. In the end, they were able to install it but it was less than what I wanted. Oh well, it was a compromise I can live with vs. having to see the car damaged and having to take it to the dealership for repairs for an extended time.
Thanks again.
