Hi, We just bought a 07 RX 350, Onyx Black and love this vehicle so far.
Question for the Lexus enthusiasts here:
How easy or difficult is it to install the RX350 Mirror cover with LED's that are being sold on ebay search for : LED MIRRORS COVER
Contacted the support on the website that was selling this product: www.vertexracing.com and they replied:
LEXUS RX330 LED CHROME SIDE MIRROR COVERS RX : Part# SMC-LRX3304U-CM
Q: The picture shows LED turnlight indicator on the mirror cover, are those functional or do we need to make a modification for them to function because Lexus does not sell RX with a LED indicator on the mirror enclosure
Ans:Minor wiring is required you need to ground 1 wire and conenct the other to your turn signal and they will work
Do you guys this will work or will this void any warranty.
Thanks in advance
Sama

I have not tried it myself but I don't think it is *that* easy.
You can also consider the genuine Lexus/Toyota version: http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=726
I am sure it's pricier but you know it's from the source. There is a disclaimer in the discription though:
**REQUIRES MODIFICATION TO PASSENGER SIDE TO FIT**
and
re wiring needed

Thanks Jylo for the info. I have decided to go with this product, not very expensive and looks good on the existing mirror.

Here is the response from the sales person Jason:
The product is simple to install. Stick it where you want it with the adhesive backing. Run the wires into a panel seam and tap into your turn signals and you are done. They will light up simultaneously with your turnsignals. In case you are uncomfortable installing on your own have it done at your local stereo shop. Do not bring to the dealer because they are not helpful when it comes to accessories purchased elsewhere for less. Hope this helps, please email me with any other questions. thank you
