You install it pretty much like any other car. For the head unit, I don't think there is an after market dash kit out, but you are in luck You can buy the JDM Harrier dash kit that replaces the radio and leaves a double DIN slot or a trimmed singled DIN slot for after market radios. It is an OEM part so fit and finish is perfect.

I don't think there is a wire harness adapter for the RX yet, but it is pretty simple as all you need to do is tap the ignition wire, constant 12V and you are pretty much in business. For the amp remote turn on wire if you need it just run your own to your after market amp. There is no power antenna in the RX so you don't need that wire.

I can only speak for the NON ML amp since that is what my RX is. It is easy to bypass the amp. Just remove the molex plugs from the amps output and tap the correct wires to each speaker. I don't have wire color codes with me since I did mine a couple of years ago, but it is no big deal. I got the wire color code from the online service manual website and just searched for the correct wires until I found them all. Then I just tap into them and soldered my own wires to it. In this case you can use your own amp which I did, or use the head units power amp.

Yes, that is the one. I had someone buy mine directly from a Toyota dealer in Japan. I believe Carson Toyota in the US can now bring them in, and I do see them on ebay every once in a while.
