I bought a new 07 RX 350 a month ago from Manhattan Lexus and I have a few questions.
1. Paid around $41500 for AWD/NAV/Premium Plus (NO ML) - did I get a good deal??? (I did not know at the time the 08s were coming out so soon)
2. Got a flat after only 1200 miles - swapped the spare, but have not replaced the tire yet, so the low pressure light is still on (based on a thread on this forum the light is on b/c of the spare). Should I buy my new spare tire from the dealership for around $250, or can I get a discount elsewhere?
3. Now after the tire swap, the car seems to be pulling to the right slightly. What could be causing this? Uneven tire pressure maybe?
4. Should I continue to service my car at the Manhattan dealership? Has anyone had any big probelms with their service dept?
To be fair, the purchase experience was not bad, and the sales manager/rep there seemed to be helpful and knowledgable. I had test drove another model there before eventually going with the RX, so that is why I went back there to deal with the same sales rep.

I want to comment on the deal price. Someone on this board should be able to confirm actual date that Lexus would have made clearance incentive discounts available to Dealers. This is a normal practise.
I am supportive of early calendar 2007 release of Cdn.-made vehicles in that the driver-control feature of VSA OFF button is very important where I drive.
In fact, it could be a life-threatening experience to not be able to get vehicle off the county roads, and lake-effect snows wipped up by high winds causing white-outs and huge drifting here on west side of Lake Huron are common.
Toyota is to be congratulated on this change that allows rocking vehicle, if required, to release with engine power from such a drift.
Where I have a problem with Toyoto/Lexus is keeping trust in the product relationship because I believe when such a safety improvement comes along
and there is no aftermarket fix for 2007's (or before) they should put out a dealer letter explaining model change feature related to driver control and safety and what new manual explains to 2008 Buyers. But then go on to explain best practises for getting unstuck in such a situation with prior products out there. Service Mgrs. comments should be sought out by all of us. But why are we having to initiate the communications?
Toyota has a responsibility larger than taking care of prospective customers where safety is involved, in my opinion.

I leased a 2007 RX350 during "December to Remember" event... AWD, Flint Mica, Premium Package but no NAV or ML. MSRP was 43,056... initially dropped price to 39,500. I wanted dealer installed integrated Sirius (they'll do that as well as XM), but didn't want it to add too much to lease. They dropped MSRP to $38,600, so with Sirius, it still came to $39,500. Given higher cost of NAV, think you got a good deal!
Also bought in Manhattan, and was quite happy with experience... bought my RX 300 there as well 6 years ago.

I got my RX 350 in June of 06 AWD with Nav at 41.5k with Mcdermold (sp) in CT. I was actually quoted a lower one from ray catena in NY/NJ for 40900. for same feature.
That Dec to remember thing is crap. U got to go there a few times and contact them thru their internet sales.

2. I thought the spare was a full size spare, why would the light come on if it's a full size spare. When the dealership does a tire rotation, they rotate in the spare tire as well, so I'd think it should work fine.
3. Try bringing it to the dealership, they might fix it under warranty.
4. (Does not apply)
