the plastic cant be too expensive to replace. im not sure if its part of the bumper or not. If not, then at most, wiht labor, that bottom part is <$100. the top part of the bumper looks like it can be buffed out. try some wax, or scratch removing products from a local autozone type shop.

Obviously, the plastic cannot be saved, so if you were to replace the whole bumper, were looking at $500 < the price < $700

There's more scratches on the paint I discovered, to the right of those two. It's really not too obvious, but it just ticks me off since the car is new. I also noticed some road nicks on the hood already, which means that this Lexus paint gets chipped and scratched VERY easily.

this is very common due to thew new paint standards that the government enforced. This law for environmentally sound paint makes the automaker make easily chipped paint. However, not all auto companies have yet to change their paint. Lexus is one of the first. Many people use the 3m clear covers to protect their car.

Check with the various car dealers in your area for the guys that they use to get parking lot rash off of their floor models. My neighbor does this for all of the dealers on "Dealer Row" and he charges them a relatively small fee. That is the reason that so many trade-ins and demos look so good on the lot.

Get a clear bra. It is a very good investment..I'm glad I put one on my RX.
