Sold my RX330
Well folks, I just sold my 2004 RX330. I'll drop it off to my friend on Monday. It was a good run with this car. I bought it new in April 2003 and had 10K miles on it before 2004 even came around. I built it up a bit, entered it in a local car show, and it served my family well. It had a few things I didn't like about it mainly because I'm not really an SUV kind of guy and more a sports car guy, but over all it did what it was supposed to do. The car has been returned to virtual stock except for the Eibach spring drop and 20" rims.
I ended up buying a 99 LS400 with 47K miles to replace the RX330. This is primarily my wifes car. I should have some fun building up the LS400 now Anyway, here are a few pics of my RX330 during its peak.
Here are the two of my cars at the local car show together looking their best.

I sold the car to a friend for a good price. Under $20K I returned it to stock except the painted parts, the 20" rims, the Eibach springs, and the running boards. My friend did help be get a few thousand off the LS400 from the advertised price so in a way it kind of worked out for the both of us. The A/V is all going in the 99 LS I just picked up with a few additions and changes.

Actually no, I'm keeping all the A/V gear and even the VIP LED lights as I'll probably install them on the LS400 I just got. Believe it or not the RX was only mildly modified. Aside from the drop, running boards, rims and color matched hatch spoiler and lower trim there was nothing else done to the exterior. My interior only had the A/V, but I returned it to 100% stock because I bought spare headrests to mount the monitors in and keep all the stock parts. If I have to permanently modift a stock part, I always buy a spare part. That way when the time comes I have the option to return it to stock if the buyer prefers and don't have to track down hard to find used parts or pay an arm and a leg for a new part at the dealer. I find you have a much larger potential market if your car is stock.

Unfortunately no. I just sold it to my brother late last year. However, I never really intended to sell it, but my only son was just starting pre school and I wasn't sure I could handle all the extra expenses. Turns out I miss that car so much that I'm going to try and buy another one

I personally believe I was the very first one in the United States to have that dash kit. I had someone from Japan buy it for me direct from the Japanese Toyota dealer. Now, I believe even Carson Toyota which is a vendor sponsor of Club Lexus @ www.l-tunedparts.com carries them. I don't see it listed on the RX page, but they have posted here before that they carry this item.

The ride was still good. I think going to the 20" rims and lower profile tires made a larger difference in ride quality. Still, over all it was okay for my taste at least. I still had the OEM shocks when I sold the car at 62K miles so it held up for at least 30K miles. Believe I put the springs on around the 30K mileage time frame.
