Do we need to actualy bore holes so we can attach some bolts? Looks like it. Otherwise you can use the nets as tie downs....use existing tie down hooks.

Yes, you do need to drill two holes for the cargo net. The template that comes with the net shows you where to drill. It's no big deal and takes about 5 minutes.

Are you actually drilling into sheet metal? I remember when I did my CRV, it was so complicated, I opted not to do the hooks, just because it was hard to get that screw washer in there. Hence I just used the nest as tie downs and not as vertical nets. If you can post a pic, it will be appreciated.

Are you referring to my CRV? In the CRV case, you actually have to bore holes on the sheet metal. The holes were not pre-drilled. So I take it, Lexus has pre-drilled the holes for the Cargo net?

i was talking about the RX. the diagram shows one thing but it doesnt seem right

Just have the dealer install the cargo net for you, that's what I did.
