Default Dealer Invoices

Ok so i'm still working on purchasing a new '07 FWD RX350 with premium package that i mentioned in an earlier thread. My problem: the sales rep refuses to fax me a copy of the invoice, although he claims it's $36,xxx. He said he can show it to me in person, but i'm about 500-600 miles away. They are staying firm with their offer of $33,900 + tax and tag transfer, but i managed to have them waive the $700 dealer fee. So should i take his word on the invoice? does 36,xxx sound about right? thanks in advance!

build the car you are looking for at kbb.com and whatever the invoice price is should be the right invoice price at the dealer. dont forget the dealers still have thier wholesale reserve plus dealer hold back, so i would say go under invoice even if you are not close to the dealer.
