RX350 - changing settings
Is it possible to have the following happen on my 2007 RX350?
And if so, can I make the changes to the settings myself?
1. The doors lock automatically after moving off at, say, 10mph?
2. Pressing (press once) the remote unlock on the key opens all of the doors rather than only the driver's door?
3. Setting the headlights on "auto" so that there is a delay, say 30sec in switching off after leaving the car?
Thanks and Regards...

You might want to explore the Lexus web site for the owner resources and read your manual. There's a "settings" .pdf on the owners pages too large to upload here. Those are dealer settings. Auto locking is either with speed or shift position. Look at your owners manual for that.

the first one is in the manual and you can do it yourself.
the second one requires a dealer
the third one is alreay preset into the car, im sure your car is doign this already. At night, press once to lock the doors and the headlight will stay on for 30 seconds. Press the lock button twice to lock and to turn off the car headlights.

okay this is how to set "all doors are locked automatically when the vehicle speed reaches 12 km/h (12 mph) or higher. However, if any door is unlocked during driving, this auto locking function will not operate until the unlocked door is opened once"
1) close all the doors
2) turn the ignition switch to the "on" position
3) within 10 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the on position, push and hold the front of the power door lock switch (lock position) for 5 seconds with the selector lever in any position EXCEPT "P"ark

This doesn't work for me - I've tried it several times without success.
And, like the other poster from the Middle East, I'm in Australia and my manual definitely doesn't contain any of this stuff - hence my original questions...

Go to the Lexus website and register your car in the "Owners" section. A little poking around in there should turn up a .pdf copy of the manual. The manual for the 350 may not be posted yet - I can't tell - Since I registered my 330, all I can see is the manual for that car. I think if you register your car, you may be able to access the 350 manual. While the database search engine is a little wonky, at least it lets you get at the material - even if you have to execute several differently-worded searches.

As mentioned earlier, I / We are not in the USA - I've tried registering at lexus.com, and of course, since my VIN is not a USA-delivered RX, the database can't find "me" or my VIN...
The Australian Lexus website lexus.com.au doesn't have an Owners' section.

Dunno about (1) and (3), but I have (2) on my 330 set to unlock all doors with a single press of the key. Your dealer can program the lock system to unlock all doors with one press of the button.

I'd like to know whether it's possible to program the RX350 to fold in the external mirrors whenever the ignition is turned off.
