Default Unused space for buttons on steering wheel

I have an '07 RX350. It has what looks like an usused space for a set of buttons on the steering wheel for a feature I don't have. Wondering what control/feature it would be used for. It is between the phone contol and the voice command control. Anyone know what those buttons would be used for?

hmm, all the pictures in the brochure has that unused space as well....

my guess is something to do with the optional radar guided cruise.

No, the radar guided cruise has a separate little control behind that spoke of the steering wheel. The space is for a display control button for the RX400h.

thanks...I was curious because my car is "fully loaded," and so hearing that it is for the 400h makes sense

Here's a picture of it on the 400h... The DISP button changes the display below the speedometer. It switches between such things as outside temp, average mpg, energy source (engine or battery), etc... I think the ES350 has this button too...
