Tapping Noise at 55mph + and Tips and Upgrades
I have a RX 330 2004. Have any one came across a tapping sound coming from under the driver's seat? This sound only make noise when I drive over 55 mph.
Also, do anyone know of any useful tips or trick for the RX 330 2004 that is NOT in the MANUAL?
Have anyone upgraded their RX 330 and what was done to it?

There was a thread in January about RX noises from underneath. The jist of it was that there is a metal tray down there that covers the gas tank, and it often vibrates against the tank making odd noises. The fix to to jam some foam rubber between the two, or take it back to the dealer to ***** about it.

Now, I have started to hear the noise coming from my moonroof, it is on, then it is off.....like a loose piece of metal or aluminum....

Moonroof Noise
I used to have RX300 that made a clicking noise from the Moonroof. It only happened every once and awhile. Took a while to figure out.
If your car is hot from sitting outside. And you start the car and turn on the A/C. With the moon roof was closed but the inside cover was pushed back. The temperature difference would make the plastic around the Moonroof contract. Making a clicking noise. It would only happen for a couple of minutes.

i've done a lot of DIY noise reduction on my RX. you are welcome to ask a dealer to take a look, but if you are out of warranty, i would suggest this fix. even my dealer couldn't pin point it the first time i complained about it, so i ended up doing this myself and couldn't be happier.
