why should a leased car be a problem? i have a ton of audio equipment in mine. before the lease is up it all comes out, panels go back and car returned stock.
It better not be a lease...otherwise, you will spend more $$ putting it back, otherwise, you take a deduction.
Just like others it is easy to return to stock if/when needed just as long as you keep your stock parts. Too often I see people selling off their stock parts (Wheels, seats, suspension, radio, whatever) when they put in aftermarket parts, but I keep all my stock parts. Putting everything back to stock usually takes only a few days depending on how much aftermarket parts you have installed. I recomend anyone to keep their stock parts. All too often I see WTB (Wanted to Buy) this and that stock part when people are getting ready to sell their car. If they just keept it they would already have it, and/or they wont have to go to the dealer and buy a new part when they need the part because the new buyer is picking up the car the next day
I keep all of my stock parts, so when i need to return the car everything will go back the way it is. I agree with CK6Speed though i know a lot of people that put aftermarket stuff on then just sell their old stuff, only to have to find it or buy it again when its time to sell or return the car. I did that with my old car and had to trade someone for a pair of taillights so the car would be stock before selling.
