Default 17 Inch Tyre Choices - Help / Advice Wanted

My RX330 (Australian Spec) comes with Michelin Energy LX4 225/65/17 Tyres from the factory - http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....del=Energy+LX4.

It's getting close to replacement time, and I'd like some advice on what to choose as a replacement.

Obviously, I could get the OEM Michelins - but the price is a little steep
($A 430 fitted and balanced), and I'm not impressed with the S speed rating, or the hard compound (Treadwear = 500, and the tyres currently have 48,000km / 30,000 miles on them and are just now needing replacement.

As far as I know, the only other tyre available in Australia in 225/65/17 is the Yokohama Geolander G91A - http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Geolandar+G91A

They are quite a bit cheaper ($A 283 each), are H speed rated, but to me the B Traction rating is a bit of a worry.

What do you guys think ?

Any feedback would be appreciated - especially from Aussie members with
17" wheels who have changed tyres.

This is the one I'm replacing my 18" tires (235/55/18) with next month... I've done a lot of research on this as well and this is the one to get according to many RX330 owners as well as reviews...

Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza
==> Better treadwear (600 A A)
==> Better speed rating (V)
==> Better on dry, wet and snow according to the reviews
==> Cheaper than stock tires

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....r+H%2FL+Alenza

Good luck!
PS. Apparently in June, Bridgestone is having a big promotion with $100 rebate off a set of 4 tires...

Dont buy the Geolander, they are terrible. There are people on another forum who change out their factory Geolander to Alenza because the Geolander were so bad.

Alenza had a lot of positive reviews. And the price can not be beat.

Treadwear of 600 ? Sounds like they're made of granite.

They're not available in Australia anyway.......

Well, I believe any authorized Bridgestone dealer can order them in for you if you really want them...
