not really slippery. If you look up close, its not smooth at all, its grainy. i dont think you will have a problem with it. fitting with the actual blueprint of the car is going a so-so. it kidna matches up, but not really. looks like a 5th grade was cutting it with aproximate dimensions
Thanks! (and sorry for asking so many questions)

I had the light grey interior and floor mats. After about a years use the mats were just trashed with dirt. Couldn't really clean it anymore and it wasn't really worth the time to clean it. I just bought OEM black carpet mats. For me, it looked good with all the other black parts in the light grey interior. They still get dirty, but they no longer showed it

OEM Rubber mats are the way to go, they look much better than the weather tech. You can buy them on ebay for about $65. The problem with the clear mat is that they dont hold water.

However, I guess I should have mentioned in my original message that, where I live (Orange County), I'm more concerned about dirt, dust, grass, etc. Water is not an issue since it generally doesn't rain from May to November. And when it does rain, it's not a lot.

there is a company called catch-all that makes some of the best looking mats that look like OEM in color and shape. I have them in my RX over my OEM mats. My OEM mats look brand new

$130 or so for front and rears and about $200 including back area. I dont have the back area. I my son spilled full cup of Soda. Luckily all went on the mat. No spill over what so ever. No if i can just get him to stop making the rear armsest his seat

Here's the latest...I bought the clear vinyl mats from the dealer yesterday. I got the front and rear seat floor mats, not the cargo mat.

I ordered the weathertech floor liner...at first I thought they looked "industrial", but thought it was the way for me to go. They have the holes to secure just like OEM, hopefully should work well for fluid and dirt...
