Hey RXowner, i didnt get a chance to respond to you. I bought it from my dealer for i think 80 bucks, not sure cause it was so long ago.

anyways, now all you have to deal with is that plastic smell. haha. looking good. you should clean it frequently, cause now, my drivers mat is stained brown-ish. nothing i do will get it off.

You mean you have a stain on the clear vinyl mat? Hmm...I thought they were basically "stain proof"--how did that happen?

yeah...just everday dirt seemed to have ingrained into the mats. I use my car everyday and frequently, and my wife as well. We usually take them out in the summer, and put them back in in the winter. Seemed like the water from the rain and just dirt from our shoes have just stuck on it. Ill take a picture later when i get a chance.

Great pics of the clear mats...they will stain, best bet to clean bi-weekly to minimize staining.

Thanks.

Speaking of pics, can we see some of your all-weather mats?

Yup, that's it. It will eventually stain. Hence I went with the rubber mats.

They kind of look like the plastic mats I have in my office for my chair.

That's basicall what they are--and are cut to fit right over the existing OEM carpeted mats.

<photo removed to save bandwidth>
I'm thinking those stains are the result of scratches on the surface and then the dirt gets embedded within them.

Have you tried bleach on those stains? If not, I would suggest trying bleach out on a hidden part of the mat to test it first (like at the very top corner of the mat).
