Default 04 RX 330 Service Campaign for Radiator

I got this message when I logged on the Lexus Owner's website today, talks about the radiator, under warranty. Anybody's heard of this?

2004 MODEL YEAR LEXUS RX 330 RADIATOR Campaign Code: 4LFCampaign Memo

This is a Limited Service Campaign. Contact any Lexus dealer and make an appointment to install the improved radiator before October 31, 2007.

Jsut called in the dealership and was told that the radiator warranty has been extended, by how much, she did not say and I do not need to do anything. I am coming in for another issue anyway and I will inquire some more. The announcement on the lexus owners website is saying that the radiator will be replaced. Maybe if you were seeing issues, they will replace it, but this will fall under regular warranty. Looks like they have several radiators fail, maybe and it became a customer satisfaction issue.

That was one thing they did cover in ours (we had problems with the faulty brake rotors which they would not)They replaced the rad, coolant and hoses when it started leaking.Evidently its not uncommon

I got that radiator letter 2 years ago. They will only change it if your in cold climate weathers, where the radiator would fail. Other than that, i see no reason to change it.

The radiator campaign (4LF) only applies to only some Canadian built RX330’s. The RX330's built in Japan are all ok.

I have a Canadian made RX330. But I was told that Lexus only extended the warranty......still does not make sense to me.
