Sounds like a rear brake slide pin is hanging up causing a rear pad to rub against the rotor. if the sound is only coming from one side... touch the rotor thru the wheel spokes on each side. if one is much hotter than the other... it is the slide pin.

Have had lots of bearing problems with my RX. The dealer would only do a partial fix. When warranty was up, they handed me an estimate to do it right. That qualifies as the worst warranty work a person could get -- lots of hassles and a big bill when right after warranty was done for a much larger scope of work.

That is just not right. I would find another dealer. No, skip that, find a reputable Lexus independent shop that uses only Lexus certified mechanics. These places exist, and in many instances charge half, or at least a third less than the dealer for the same repair.

I agree, that is not right, but in the Great Plains the Lexus dealers are owned by the same outfit. As such, the only alternative is to buy another brand. I'm thinking the Genesis or a Toyota hybrid will be the next vehicle. The RX line and dealer have left a scar on Lexus.
