Help with Color choice
#17
Well my wife ended up going with Brandywine. She took a good look at it in the sun and in the showroom again and decided she was a fan...
Then she saw it on the road and hated it. So she went to the dealer and took another look at the color. It was overcast and she thought there was just way too much brown in it for her. She changed the order to Millennium Silver with Light Gray/Walnut. She's disappointed she isn't going to have her Ivory interior but she just didn't like any of the colors it came in enough to buy it. Why Ivory comes with Black but not Flint Mica I'll never know.
I'm slightly disappointed she didn't choose Flint Mica with Light Gray/Walnut (she told me she was seriously considering it) as it's my favorite color for a car but Millennium Silver with Light Gray/Walnut would have been my 2nd choice.
She had a silver car in the past and never got tired of it. Overall I'd say we are both pretty happy with the choice.

I agree - I love the choice. Not to get all feng-shui or anything but I see flint mica as a grey tone whereas black is more neutral...meaning it goes well with either ivory or gray. To show you how far I obsess over this stuff, I don't like silver wheels against a brown/earth colored interior...one of the reasons I quickly moved toward the gray interior. That, and I really loved the black wood veneer.
My only complaint with silver is that in my neck of the woods it's such a popular color. While I like breakwater blue, I went with it more to be a wee bit unique than because it knocked me out.
Anyway, congrats in advance to your wife!

That Breakwater Blue is an excellent choice! It is head turner, no kidding. I would have bought this color, when put side by side with BP. Then again, the wifey decidey and she was happey....end of story.

I just got the Pearl White. I really wanted to like the blue with black maple, but the maple to me didn't really look like wood, at least you couldn't tell easily it WAS wood. so I got the tan........reddish-wood is beautiful.

We just sold my wifes '05 330 in white with tan interior. We replaced it with an '07 350 in millennium silver with black interior. My wife and I both like the silver and black combination but both strongly prefer the white exterior and tan as a color choice. The contrast of the window tinting and black fin on the white can't be beat. Somehow to us the white/tan color is a classier look. Just our personal thoughts.
