flintRX04,

Where did you get the headlight assembly...from the local service department?

Where is the 3rd screw to remove the headlight assembly? Do I have to remove the front bumper?

Any instructions you have will be very helpful...thanks

RayraySC,
Yes I picked up the assembly for the local service department.

The third screw is right next to the side of the bumper. Its best to remove the screws that hold the side of the bumper from which you are trying to remove the headlight (there is also a tab next to the headlight and in front of the grill you will need to remove). You do not have to remove the bumper entirely. Once you remove the third screw located on the side next to the bumper wall, pull the bumper partially off to remove the headlight assembly. You need to do this because there is a clip that rides underneath the bumper to keep it in place. Good luck!

I also took my RX330 to dealership for headlamp moisture and they said it is normal and refusing to replace them. What should I do?

Call the Lexus 1-800 number, they can ask the dealer to replace it, and no, its not normal.

I noticed I had moisture in both headlamps after I went through a high pressure car wash. By the time I took it to the dealer, one of the headlamps had dried out. The service guy told me that condensation was normal so they replaced only the one that had condensation in it. I haven't had a problem since and have never gone back to that car wash.
