Two months ago, while driving in VA on the way to the Outer Banks, mostly flat or VERY slightly rolling terrain, I hit 26.7 mpg. That was measured using the old stand-by method of miles driven divided by gallons. The amazing thing was that the computer showed low 26s during the same period. This was on cruise control with virtually no stopping or even slowing down. Coming back the mpg dropped about 1.5 mpg with moderate traffic and a very slight upgrade.

That's why I did take a pic, I have a ten month old baby so my girl takes the camera every where. I think I had maxed out at 28.1 w/o the air on.

4000 mile trip from Texas to the east coast and back, average mileage was 26.4. On the east coast to Texas return leg the average was 27.5, Highway speed averaged 68-72 MPH using GPS to measure speed. Computer showed over 30MPG for a good portion of the trip. Used 93 Octane for all fill-ups. Also noted a distinct change in gas mileage when we got gas without the 10% ethanol. First fill-up outside of Texas and the computer showed about a 1-2 MPG increase right after filling up. Noted same condition on the return leg, fill-up before depature had the 10% ethanol.

Over this past weekend, traveled round trip from Raleigh NC to Wash DC. I was averaging about 28mph going 70-75 with the A/C on, using cruise control when I can.

Had a round trip from NY TO NC THEN TN Then IN BACK TO NY.

From the NY TO TN (north to south) MPG is around 25

From TN back to NY MPG is around 21

Based on all fill-ups and total miles (1901 miles and 80.7 gallons) the MPG is 23.56

All highway at 70-78 mph AC on using 93 gas. 2007 FWD
