RX Door visors
has anyone installed door visors on RX350 or earlier models? Looking for advice on manufacturer, installation experience, prices paid.
Thanks.

Basically, there are 2 types. Stick on type and in channel type, both have their advantages and disadvantages.

I guess fro people who smoke, these visors work.
For ventilation, you can leave an inch open without letting the rain in.
What else for?

Even for people who dont smoke, they might want to open the window a crack when it rains or right after it rains.

My wife has them on her minivan, enabling her to leave the windows down about an inch without worrying about a sudden rain shower. Keeps the interior nice and cool (well, coolER). As mandyfig said, they're also good for smokers (
something has to be), allowing them to ventilate their fumes without a lot of wind noise. I'm not crazy about the look of these visors, but on a black vehicle they actually look pretty good. On a black vehicle they are also NECESSARY!

Many moons ago, when I had a Conversion Van...yes, a Ford Conversion Van, I had them installed. I liked it. But that was ages ago.
Now, I do not like the looks of it. Functionally, I would love to have them, but not enough for me to do it.
There might be some that are designed sleek, maybe...I would take a look.

Looks aside these have other benefits. You can actually leave your AC off and improve your mileage (season permitting of course)

Got a point on good ventilation without the wind noise.

They are great! I have them on both my SC and RX300. Here's what the Japan visors look like...
There are 4 pieces of course...
