Yes they re-painted it. The scratch was way to big to polish it. It looked like the previous owner backed into a pole or something.

The paint is a little dull looking. I'm going to wait a month or so and polish it see if it shines up.

It is ok. The color looks good but it is not as glossy. I'm going to wait a week or 2 and try and buff it. If that does not work, back to the dealer.

Well, FWIW, I just got back from the dealer looking to trade my 2004 non-Nav, 58,500 mile RX for a 2008 Nav and they offered $ 21,000 in trade and took $ 4,500 off the new one. I didn't think that was too bad for a near 60K mile car with the typical front chips etc. Plus, my car has been smoked in which is a definite no-no.

Mike, they took $4500 off the MSRP which included the Premium Plus Package? How much was the invoice for the 2008 not including your trade in? I'm curious because I have a very similar 04 as you (AWD), and I want to trade in for the 08 w/ NAV. Probably stopping by the dealer next week. Thanks.

Default 2004 AWD RX330 46K for $25K

Hi all,

Just got my 2004 AWD RX330 from Lexus dealer for $25K, 46K miles.

My friend owned it and traded it in. But didn't want to hassle with me directly. So Lexus dealer offered it as a curiosity to me at $2k above my friend's trade in value of $23K.

Welcome! Post pics! At 46k, it is not a bad deal. How's the overall condition of the car? That was a quick $2k for the dealer!
