Default Current Values on 04/05 RX330

My wife and I are thinking of getting one, and want to see what others are paying for an 2004 and 2005 with under 50K mi, AWD with NAVI or without NAVI.

Those that are trading in, how much are dealers giving you on the trade-in?

expect to pay around $27k-$30k (including taxes) for the nice 04 RX330 with Navigation and ML. If you're going to go one year higher, the price will jump to $30k-$33k, depending on options.

For trade-ins, use Kelley Blue Book, http://www.kbb.com

Andrey,
I do know about existense of kbb.com, nada.com and edmunds fair value estimator tool, but they may not be a 100% reliable. One of my friends just bought an 04 AWD non-Nav w/44K mi for 23.8 at the auction, which means that the trade in amt was actually lower than that...so it would be nice to hear from folks that have talked to dealers about trading in their suvs.

When we purchased our 2004 RX330, we planned on trading in our 1999 ES300. The blue book/nada/kbb showed a trade-in of about $13,000, yet, the dealership offered $10,000.

The sales manager showed me a print-out of the local auction prices and he wasn't willing to go near what the blue book/nada/kbb said the trade-in should be. They actually let me walk, but I had just totaled our existing SUV and we really wanted the RX, so we "compromised" and he gave us $11,000 on trade.

Must do your homework, best bet. Different locations, different pricing. Check your local craigslist...it is very close to what normal trading is.

Trade-ins usually equal the lowest KBB value at fair condition or, as dealers call it, the "black book value". This is the value that equals the price of car being sold on the auction. 90% it is the lowest KBB value.

We purchased our '04 RX330 with Navigation, Mark Levinson and Rear Seat Entert. for $25k (taxes included) from the private owner. Our local dealer was asking $32k for the similar car. So, as others have said, do your homework and research, prices are different at different places.

you just got lucky with this one. it is not that prices are diffrent, it's just the seller who sold you the car did not know its true value.

Andrey

thats a great deal, and I'd love to get something like that in my area, but for now it seems that even a ton of RX330s are coming off the lease, 25K can get either repaired salvage title or high miles.....

Once in while you will hit the jackpot, single owner, well kept. Instead of an off lease car, which there are a ton of. Just imagine getting AM1's car after he offloads it.......hahahahaah!!!!!!!

The usual price for 04 RX is in 27k-30k, and that's for very well kept one owner car, usually with around 35,000-50,000 miles. Navigation adds about $1k to the car's value and with or without ML is about the same. At least these are the prices here in Arizona.

About the same in ATL. Private sale. Dealers, add 1K plus taxes.

I paid 29,700 for a 04' Pre-Certified with 27k miles. Premium Package,no nav or ml and towing package.

Another dealer would not budge from 32k,for a 05' with 38k miles same car but had NAV

Not bad there are your usual scratches here and there, the funny thing is there are hardly any swirl marks. I guess the previous owner never washed the car. There was also a good size scratch on the rear passenger bumper, but the dealer agreed to fix it and it looks like new.

I'll give it a month or so before I do the whole Zaino treatment.

do you have any idea how they foxed the scratch? Polish or actually re-painted?
