Default No TRAC OFF button at footwell

is there suppose to be a TRAC OFF button at the footwell where next to the Tire Pressure button? my 2004 does not have one but there is a plug with wires going into the blank in the back of it. is that normal for some cars??

My 08 AWD has a button--I hold it for 2 seconds and it turns off Trac/VSC and it stays off till I want it on again! I will have to play in the snow this winter with all that Off

well theres gotta be a way to maybe either buy the switch and connect it somehow i mean my dash has a Light for it to be off so maybe theres a way to disable it By installing a switch. I wonder how the system works.
