After Market Remote Start?

Lexus Test Driver
I paid 500 for it. Compustart 2 way, comes with 2 remotes. This is my 2nd one on my 2nd Lexus! No problems works great.
When I took my other L in for any service problems they never asled about a remote or anything--you shouldnt have a problem

It doesn't void the entire warranty but if there are any issues with the car that might be related to the starting circuit or associated wiring Lexus has every rite to stand down because the system they would be attempting to diagnose and troubleshoot has been modified.

Not to hijack the thread ... I ran into similar situation with GS. Back then Lexus offered Ltune products.
I wanted to change the exhaust and shocks + springs to Ltuned. Lexus stand was that NOT ONLY, the parts be Ltuned but the installation be carried out at Lexus.
My whole point is, there may be warranty provided by who ever installs the remote starter, it could be the dealership itself, but keep in mind Lexus Corp is a different entity. Dont assume, ask and for warranties get it in writing. I am talking about the add-ons as the warranty on unrelated components should stay intact.
