Sorry to bring the old thread back, but I'm having trouble fitting the passenger side. Any insight would help. Thanks!

This is something that really bugs me. Lexus purports to be a "luxury" automobile, but lacks even the most rudimentary luxury items, like these mirrors. The navigation system isn't even comparable to a $300 Garmin, but Lexus wants almost that much for the update CD. My 2007 RX-350 uses Premium gas, for no apparent reason. The HP and compression are similar to other cars that use regular or mid-grade gas. I had the satellite radio added, thinking that it used the same antenna as the GPS or sound system...wrong. I ended up with this ugly after-market antenna glued to the roof. They could have at least used a "shark fin" for $585.

I am OK with the ride and comfort of my RX-350, but the car is far from being a luxury vehicle. It has 21K miles now and I will replace it before the over-priced 60K service. I won't replace it with another Lexus, unless they make some marked improvements in the next couple of years.

Fair enough. Perhaps a more careful test drive and research before you buy a replacement for the RX will help avoid being disappointed.....and now back to installing those turn signal mirrors. I'd like to add those but the more I read, the more I think it's over my head.

Check out a DIY that I did a while back for these. Just do a post search with my name and it should show up. If you still need help then send me a PM and I will try to help as much as I can

Hi, it depends on whether if you buy an aftermarket one or the OEM Toyota Japan turn signal mirrors. If you buy the aftermarket one, you shouldn't have a problem fitting it. But, the OEM was a pain in the butt. I later gave up.

they are OEM that i bought in Japan, but were modified by local store prior to me purchasing them. I had to tell them that i had left hand car so they asked me to pick the mirrors up the next day. I did have to get them painted in the states, they did not feel comfortable with the color match. They only had the prepainted ones for the colors that are sold in Japan.

I see, but yea the OEM ones can be pain to do it yourself. The aftermarket ones fit so well, you don't have to sweat it. You practically do the install in less than an hour depending on how familiar you are with the car door panels and such.
