thats a pretty rare find. Depends on what do brand new one is being sold in your area. Make sure you get some good quotes. I would consider it if there is at least a 2K difference in the price, otherwise its not worth it. IMHO anything below 37K OTD is a good price.

Its actually ours. Our 06 was replaced by Lexus due to problems we had with it a couple months ago - but we need to upsize now into a larger vehicle.

Sticker on it is $46,xxx

So I'm trying to find out what trade in and private party values should be on it.

My guy at the dealer said a new one he would give us for $42,500. We have purchased a number of cars from them in the past.

Hi.. Sorry, I am not following you. You had your 06 replace with 08 RX by Lexus, then why do you have to pay again?

What happened to ur 06 RX? Thanks!!

you're talking about the difference in 1-2K. The thing is, if you keep the RX for next two years, you will still be able to sell for 35K. If you sell now, you'd be lucky to find a private party who has 38K-40K in cash. Your best bet is to trade it in because it will save you the time and $.
