New RX 2008 FWD with NAV
Hello all,
After a long day of Email session among 5 dealers in Fl, the best deal i Have made is 42,500 OTD. I was targetting 40K OTD and two dealers have already turned their back.
Is 42,500 OTD sounds a good deal ? or how low i can go ?

I wish that Florida dealers gave some good price than that..... No one agreed to do the deal at 40K OTD which was my initial target.
All other dealers are at 43.5k OTD, even JM aren't able to beat that deal
for me.

Sounds okay..
When you say 42.5 out the door that does not sound too bad. I paid 41 plus state tax (6.25%), lic, reg, inv tax, etc. , by the time you add all that up it was probably over 42.5 out the door. Mine is 2 wd, nav, towing, blah blah blah, listed for around 43.5
Anyway, it is a great car so do not worry over the price too much, if you are in the range most people pay be happy and enjoy, life is too short to worry about the small stuff.

Nope; i didnt goto JM.... they werent ready to sell below the invoice! I bought at CountyLine Lexus!
Next question :
Dealer offered me :
1. 48months/60K - Service for $1520 - Dealer said i will save around $1k over 4 years span ?
2. 7yr/100K - Extended warranty - $1520 - Platinum package ?
3. Life track - $795
Which of the above options is good to have ????

1. Why would you pay $1520 if the dealer said it would only cost you $1000, not sure what the logic would be.
2. Extended warranty is good if you plan on putting more than average miles or keeping the vehicle for a long time. In most cases it is not worth it (IMHO) but I do not keep vehicles very long.
3. What is Life Track? I have never heard of this, if it covers tires forget it, you can go to Discount Tires and they will add full road hazard at a very reasonable price, under $100 with life time balance and rotation.
Again, enjoy that fine looking RX!

Dealer said it would cost my $2520 for 4yr/60k miles. So i save $1000 if i take it before November.
Life Track - I can track my car anytime / if it moves more from its current position- it will shoot an SMS / I can stop the car once stolen with a hit of a button on my computer. - thats what dealer told me .... I think somethink similar to LoJack!
Ohhh Well, I am just loving my RX350, its not pin-drop silence in the car on highway... but its good enough to earn me lots of speeding ticket..... i just don't know how fast i am going unless I look at the speed-o-meter and i say "ohhh well i am doing 100mph+? doesnt feel like that..." and backoff put it in cruise!

that is in the back of the vehicle, looks like a big floor mat with the Lexus name put on it so when you are loading things in the back you are reminded what kind of vehicle you own!
