The ones at the dealer are made by Denso and cost about $30, but are pure crap, just a nylon/paper filter.
The 3M are quality, electrostaically charged filters. They are not carbon activated. I have yet to find a carbon activated filter for the Lexus because I think some European cars have those.
My '02 ES300 came with a carbon-activated filter (Japanese-made Denso). My dealer carries both carbon-activated and non carbon-activated filters. The U.S. made Denso cabin filters are thin and flimsy. The Japanese made Denso cabin filters are much higher in quality and better than any aftermarket replacement I've seen so far. I've ordered one of these 3M Filtrete filters to see how it compares.
