Default Driver seat

Hi gys,i have 04 rx330,there is a click noise in the driver seat on breaking, accelerating or even getting seated, not all the times, the dealer did a tsb but still there. I spoke to them again and they suggested to bring the car back, I asked if they have the parts to repair the rails in case ,they said the driver seat has no rails and if they have to ,they have to replace all the seat.
Any one has any idea and is that true that there is no rails in the driver seat?
thanks

TSB NV 001-06 Front Seat Squeek Noise. They will remove some pins causing the squeek.

My 2007 RX350 had a driver's seat click ever since I got it. It didn't happen all of the time, but when it did it was extremely annoying. I could actually feel it right thru the arm rest.

I had the dealer do the TSB and it did not solve the problem. They had to order an entire new seat with track to resolve the problem.

What I did when having the problem - take a mechanic for a drive and don't bring him back until it starts to make the noise. The first time I brought it in, I just left it and they said it wasn't doing it when they tested it. The second time, I had them do the TSB, stopped it for a while then it started again. Third time, I took the mechanic on a nice long drive, when he heard the noise he ordered a new seat with track to be sure they eliminated the problem.

Also, when you have a mechanic test the car, be sure their weight is similar to yours. If your car is being tested by a 125# mechanic and you weigh 225#, it may not make the noise when they have it.

They replaced it under warranty and on the receipt it was marked as a broken spring.

Also, if they replace your seat, it comes with the leather on it. Since my car was new it all matched fine, but, with an '04 it might not since your leather may have faded some.

good luck. too bad you have to drive so far to reach a dealer. calling lexus hq might help things out somewhat. many dealers dont like to do warranty work unless they can detect a problem, right away. many people told me that dealers would rather do routine maintenance then do warranty work since they make more $$$ when they are doing things like oil changes, minor services, etc.
