Covered under 50K or 4 years. Go before the warranty is pup.

What about CPO. We just bought our 04 as Certified and I noticed the condensation...does anyone know if it is covered under the Certified Warrany??

Thanks!

Not a recall, just covered under warranty. CPO or not, the warranty is applied. 50k or 4 years whichecer comes first.

Thanks Mandyfig...Everything I read says of the CPO warranty that it is 3 years or 100k bumper to bumper just as the original 50k/4 year but starting at MY purchase which was last week. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

You have to check bumper to bumper....I do not think so. Lexus will cover bumper to bumper 4 years from 1st service date or 50k miles. Nothing covers bumper to bumper after that, not even a CPO. Call the dealer, I might be mistaken.

Yeah, the CPO is more like extended warranty, its almost as good as bumper to bumper.

Dealership wont replace headlamp for me. I took my car in to show them the lamp is fogged but they said they cant replace it until lexus said it's okay, so they took pictures of it. i called back today and they said NO. the only way they'll replace it is if there is acutely water in there. i think its just this damn dealership being an *** about it.

Jimbo,
Do you mind saying what dealership? I am having trouble in Southern Cal (does this forum allow names?) and have called Lexus Corp. Fortunately (or not) Lexus Corp is right across the street!

off topic, but since were talking about headlights. Lexus should make HID for both the High and Low beams. Like the ML and X5 which compete against this car and mainly every other car that comes factors with HIDs.

How often do you use your high beam. I use my high beam mostly for flashing people, so HID in my high beam would be useless.
