I did not know these were avialable. Saw them in Southern California today while on a business trip. Sure looked like stock and really sharp. I would like to get a set. Anyone know anything?

Yep, brand new for 08. I see them on the lot at Newport Lexus, an extra few grand for them.

usually the dealers send them out for chroming and then try to charge customers like $2000-$3000 for them (which is ridiculous).

since the wheels are new it will take some time for them to get to chrome companies out there which will only charge you $600-$800. you could try sewell lexus, a club lexus vendor, if it interests you. we got our GS chromes thru them about 6 wks after the GS was launched. it just took them some time to get a few sets to start chroming them and doing an exchange program.

same w/ my RX. i purchased it at launch and those wheels were nowhere to be found but i negotiated chromes for $800 installed when i bought it. so the dealer took his RX demo and put some aftermarket 19's on them and sent the factory wheels for chroming and then i went in and did the exchange about a month later.

.. or you can always find chrome wheel on eBay or Craigslist. I sold my brand new chromes due to their "bling" factor as soon as I purchased RX. The price that I offered them for (look in classifieds section here) was much better than the dealer would charge even for the exchange.
