good info.........3 percent does seem like a lot......here are the specs on my tires.....NITTO 420S
tread depth 11.0
inflated overall diameter 28.94
overall width 10.10
revs per mile 718
thats all the info i can find on it. the specs are pretty close to the oem good year eagle rs-a.
overall width is barely .6 wider over all diameter is close also. i dont think the weight is that much difference. Here's something to think about though for all RX330-350 owners, the shocks in the car are not very heavy duty and it is very liekly that they will start leaking or they will start to bottom out as the car ages. if your car starts to bottom out, go to the dealer right away and get them to change them. Again, this problem is common, though the dealer may not want to change them.

why would anyone put wider tires on RX?? To improve performance, save the money, or both? The gains would be non-existing, but if the tire is too wide for a rim, that can cause an accident.
Just get the regular size tires and please stop making the RX something it isn't.

@kellylexus as i indicated there is an online tire conversion calculator that allows determining substitute size without impacting safety, advocating sticking to factory tire size but looks like you got nothing else to do than resurrect a 12 year old thread? I dont give a flying f what anybody does to their mom mobile, put 35’s on for all I care, suit yourself and just move on now!
