My recent experience @ Lexus dealership

After they rotated the tires, I felt like the vehicle pulled to one side or the other while driving on the freeway, but didn't have time to bring it in for a check. Last week I brought it in (a different dealership) to check out the wind noise. While there, I mentioned about the drifting. They checked and felt the same as I did. They had to rotate the tires again. This time they cross-rotated them. And it did fix the drifting. The advisor said due to uni-direction of the RX tires, the other dealership was supposed to verify if the vehicle drifts after rotation. They can not just simply rotate.
I thought I'd share it with you guys in case you run into this problem.

It's really important to pick a good dealer - one you feel comfortable with, one you feel is honest, one you feel you can trust. I've owned/lease a large number of cars so far in my life, and I've seen it all. The worst was a Hyundai dealer in Columbus Ohio who actually lied about service - and the best dealer's I've worked with have been another Hyundai dealer in Columbus & several Lexus dealers here in SoCal. If you have issue with a dealer, talk to them about it and if you aren't happy, take your business to another dealer.
I've found the strongest tool a dealer has for getting my business is great customer service. If I have an issue and the dealer service department impresses me, I'll be highly likely to purchase my next vehicle there. Poor service from my last BMW dealer drove me to Infiniti, then poor response from them on a new car purchase drove me to Lexus. I've been very impressed with everyone I've contacted at my dealership and will most likely purchase another Lexus later this year from them.

Really have to admit that when it came time to trade my 2004 I could not consider another brand or dealership because of the way I was treated with my first Lexus. I did comparison shop to make sure I was being treated fairly but that was a waste of time. So far my experience with Lexus has been beyond my expectations.

im sorry to hear about your bad service with that particular lexus dealer. its amazing what can slip through the cracks and tarnish someone's outlook on an entire company, because of one or two people's lack of attention to detail.
i hope you can find a better dealer to work with. i promise that lexus dealers like this arent everywhere. and keep in mind, it may of just been an unfortunate situation where you and your vehicle fell through the cracks.
fill out a survey or call and talk to someone. you may get something out of it.
