Default RX350 in Crosswinds on higway

recently drove through a moderate sandstorm. at 70mph it felt like the car was getting blown all over the place. is it because its a SUV? or is the RX not too sure footed on highways with crosswinds?

I dont think too many cars are super stable in cross-winds. Im sure its normal to get blown around a little

I dont think any SUV with soft suspension will do good in a heavy cross wind. The GX is even worst than the RX on windy days.

Any tall vehicle will respond to a crosswind differently than a sleek passenger car, however the RX does a pretty amazing job of minimizing this effect. Last winter I was caught on Interstate 10 between Houston and San Antonio when a major storm rolled in in advance of a powerful cold front. The performance of the RX was documented here about a year ago.
